Facilities Program Director

The Facilities Program Director investigates and resolves problems independently and proposes modifications and/or changes to equipment and preventive maintenance schedules. The Facilities Program Director must maintain a high level of current technical knowledge of the function of building equipment and systems. The Facilities Program Director must coordinate all building-related and common equipment service contracts and be the primary interface for all customer interactions with faculty, staff, and students. This position is the point of contact for all Facilities services and is considered essential personnel for building and campus emergencies. The Facilities Program Director partners with Risk Management and Safety to promote and enhance a culture of safety in research facilities.

Facilities, Associate Program Director

The Facilities Associate Program Director position is responsible for shipping and receiving, liquid nitrogen and dry ice recharge facilities, conference room technology, and receiving and delivery. This position is also responsible for the staffing and management of student and temporary help. The Facilities Associate Program Director will assist the Facilities Director with the following: management and oversight of building access; custodial services; laboratory construction; and building safety. These duties may require the use of a ladder and specialized safety handling/knowledge (training will be provided and required).
